The Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW) together with Asia-Africa Cooperation Council had organized Afro-Asian Forum of Cooperation and Development on 25th-26th of April 2019 at Kaya Fair & Convention Hotel, Istanbul.The program had gathered around 200 participants arranging from non-governmental organizations, politicians and opinion leaders coming from 40 countries around the world. With the intention of attending the 3rd International NGO Fair, our councillors all around the globe assembled the 25th council meeting on November 19 in Akgün Hotel.Starting with reading of Qur’an, the first session of the meeting continued with a mention of the agenda and the inaugural speech of UNIW general secretary Ali Kurt. 3rd International NGOs Fair, aiming to bring international non-governmental organizations together, was realized on November 17-18 November in Yenikapı Eurasia Performance and Culture Center through the cooperation of the Union of the NGOs of the Islamic World and (UNIW) and Turkey Foundation of the Voluntary of Associations(TFVA) and with the support of the Istanbul Great Municipality. 175 organizations and more than ten thousands visitors from 40 countries participated to the fair. Participants from different parts of the world, who came in order to conduct the 24th Council Meeting of the UNIW, met in Cologne on 21 September 2018. WEFA International Humanitarian Aid Organization’s headquarters in Cologne were visited on the first day of the program. WEFA President Mr. Hakan Musab Aydın expressed his pleasure of hosting the participants in the center of WEFA.
