Humanitarian Assistance Society (HAS) is a non-political, non-profit NGO based on human values. It is found by Afghan volunteers in 2001. The Society undertakes activities in Afghanistan in the areas of education and culture, humanitarian aid, orphan care and health. Its purpose is to serve humanity without any making distinction of religion, language nor nationality.
Mohammad Haroon Khatibi
Mohammad Haroon Khatibi, who was born in 1961, Afghanistan, has graduated from Islamabad International Islam University in 1989 and got his master’s degree in Tafsir and Hadis in 1994. He is still studying on his doctorate in the same university.
He served as the director of foreign affairs of Humanitarian Assistance Society between 2008-2012 and as chief executive between 2012-2018. At the same time, he also served as the director of foreign affairs of Salam University in Afghanistan.
