Conference on Moderation and Common Grounds

 A program on “Moderation and Common Grounds” was organzied by the Muslim World League (Rabita), held at Mecca, Saudi Arabia and garnered participation of 1,200 representatives from 139 countries. In the program’s declaration; it was emphasized that there should be no intervention in the internal affairs of another states as we should be united in fighting Islamophobia.

In addition, the declaration stated that different beliefs and cultural diversity in the society are great assets for its countries. It was also underlined that the discourse on Islamophobic may draw hateful reviews from the public.

In the conference, it was highlighted that Islam taught us to be moderate, impartial, free of prejudices, and to avoid affirming to any false accusations.

After the Mufti of Mecca approved the declaration, the program ended with group photo session.
