Result: A Strategic Meeting Strengthening Regional Resilience and Fraternal Relations

This meeting for humanitarian organizations in the Balkan countries not only increased regional solidarity and institutional capacity but also represented a significant step towards establishing an effective international coordination mechanism in the field of humanitarian aid.

The Union of Islamic World NGOs (UIWN) today has a broad global solidarity network with nearly 354 member organizations from 66 countries. This structure has repeatedly proven its ability to act quickly and coordinately, particularly during disasters and crises, through its work in humanitarian crises such as the earthquake and the Rohingya crisis. This extensive international network offers a significant advantage in strengthening the long-term sustainability of collaborations established in the Balkan region, in terms of logistics, finance, and volunteer support.

The joint project proposals discussed during the event included youth programs, educational initiatives, and models for institutional resilience; This will contribute to making NGOs operating in the region stronger, more resilient, and more effective.

Enriched by scholarly visits, discussions, and heartfelt connections, the meeting strengthened the bonds of brotherhood between the Balkan peoples and Anatolia, creating a hopeful atmosphere for preserving shared values and passing them on to future generations.

This comprehensive meeting is considered a significant milestone for the future of regional solidarity and humanitarian aid efforts.
