Short Introduction
AFECoD is a local and international organization focusing on education and community development. It is a founding member of South Coast Holding Limited (SOHO), where she implements training and community development programs throughout the country. The overall objective of the organization is to increase sustainability in support of the local community’s mission, to disseminate education and health programs to widows, young people and the community.

President
Dr.Ibrahim Bulushi
Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Haji Bulushi was born in Kenya in 1975. Bulushi received his BA in Education from the International University of Sudan, in 2001 and his master’s degree in Islamic Science from Loughborough University in 2004.
In 2011, he studied at IIBI London on Islamic Banking and Insurance and in 2014 he completed his PhD on Islamic Commercial Law at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM).
Since 2009, he has been invited to many international conferences and presented on topics such as Islamic finance and economy, good governance and capacity development.
He worked as an Arabic teacher, trainer and preacher in various institutions in the UK (2004-08), as a researcher and lecturer in Islamic jurisprudence at the International Islamic University of Malaysia IIUM (2010-15) and as Dean (2015-17) in Kenya UMMA University in Kajiado.
Since 2013, Bulushi has served as an executive at AFECOD-Africa Training and Community Development Agency.
He is fluent in English, Arabic and Swahili, and moderate Malay and French languages. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of the UNIW. He is married and has three children.
