Birlik Foundation
Short Introduction
Founded in May 29, 1985, Birlik Foundation’s aim is to ensure the community to be religious, patriotics, cultivated, elevated, modern, knowledgeable in scientific and technological information in kind; and able to contribute to the country’s towering development and continuous improvement. Acknowledging the importance of lifelong education, the foundation provide university scholarships to many bright and needy students. Every year since 1985, its scholarship committee will convene to select a number of successful and deserving students, and they are given an initial scholarship for 8 months. The foundation now have many branches throughout Turkey with approximately forty cities.
