Hilaliye Education Foundation
Short Introduction
Sahin Yılmaz Hodja who started his education on Koran and Arabic in Manisa Akhisar Hilal Mosque in 1962, continued his education with the Hilaliye Education Foundation which was founded in 1979. Hilaliye Education Foundation, which is affiliated to the Religious Affairs Administration, has trained 16.000 trainees and 3.000 hafiz for 55 years; with Private Yuksel Education Institutions, students who come from Turkey’s 55 cities and (from) 6 countries of the world as well as the Boy-the Girl and the 4-6 age Koran courses; our foundation with the aim of training talented, researcher and scientists who are dependent on national, moral and cultural values. Hilaliye has 900 students now. In addition, a large comfortable dormitory with capacity for 1.000 people is being built for hafiz students’ education.
