Islamic Relief Committee (ISRC)
Short Introduction
Islamic Relief Committee (ISRC) is founded by the youths inthe northern region of Sri Lanka in 1996. It carries out its activities in economic development, education, orphan welfare, healthcare, clean water, social and cultural assistance. It started as micro finance project in 2003, and it has given credit without interest to more than 100 people to iprove their livelihood status. ISRC also had been distibuting school materials to some 100 schools each year, while installing more than 500 water cleaning facilities.
