Short Introduction
IKADDER was founded in 2006 with the participation of women, volunteer women organizations’ presidents, members and volunteer serving in various fields in Istanbul. IKADDER became the meeting point for voluntary women and organizations that think globally and produce local and original solutions to social problems. Our Association is working on to raise status of women and family, especially Voluntary Women’s Organizations, by developing communication, consultation and cooperation models among themselves, other people and organizations. IKADDER also supports platforms which work on various areas in Turkey and provide communication, collaboration and consultation grounds over 400 NGOs. IKADDER is accredited to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) as a Special Consultation Member.
