Short Introduction
Kandil Development and Aid Association, is an international non-governmental organization based in Istanbul. mainly from Turkey to contribute to the development of all aspects of the city of Jerusalem, with cooperation from major corporations and institutions in Jerusalem and other countries and the coordination of the project are carried out in professional manner.

Activities
Construction of new schools, expansion or restoration of existing schools,
Smart board, computer and science laboratories project for schools,
Providing financial support to the graduate students of Jerusalem and Jerusalem who continue their education in Jerusalem or outside of Jerusalem,
Supporting all kinds of scientific and cultural activities related to Jerusalem students,
Support for activities such as school sports and scouting summer camps,
Support for training and development programs for teachers,
Support to education and training conferences,
Providing care and support services for disabled students,
Scholarship for Jerusalem orphans and poor students,
Training and development seminar programs project for young people in Jerusalem,
Supporting young community leaders programs,
Vocational training courses for young people and women in Jerusalem,
Restoration of historic houses in the Old City of Jerusalem,
Restoration of historic bazaars in the Old City of Jerusalem,
Establishment of a loan fund for the purchase of building construction permits in Jerusalem,

Supporting small-scale tradesmen in the old city area of Jerusalem,

President
Recep Songul
He was born in 1975 in Van, Muradiye. In 1995, he graduated from Mersin İmam Hatip High School and in 2000, he graduated from Egypt al-Azhar University, Department of Literature. He worked as a teacher of vocational courses and administration in some private education institutions. In addition to his academic work in the field of exegesis, he works in the field of dakwah, and he is dealing with religious services and foundation services. Between 2012-2016 he served as the chairman and a member of the board of trustees of the Dakwah and the Fellowship Foundation. Also a founder of Nida broadcasting, Songul is also the owner of Nobility publication also Ummah Foundation highest consultative committee and is a member of World Association of Scholars Turkey. Songul, who is the founding member and the advisor to the Rector of the el-Tecdid University, has studies on the translation of the works of scholars and thinkers known and recognized in the Islamic world into Turkish. He is currently a member of the Advisory Council of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World and speaks advanced Arabic. He is

married and has three children.
