Short Introduction
Named after Madinah Munawwarah, a blessed region where Islam spreads from it to the world, the main aim of Samarkand Foundation is to nurture the spirit of that city; for people to learn and esperience the true understanding of Islamic civilization and passed on that spirit to the next generations. To protect the orphans and those in need are among the priority of the foundation. To achieve that goal, it had established integrated religious and science education centers, organizing Quran courses, opening education institutions from kindergarten level to university, organizing dialogues as well as seminars and conferences, publishing books, magazines, and also making radio and TV programs on Islamic teachings.It works with Besir Association of Turkey to provide humanitarian aid for disaster victims in various parts of the world.
