The association works to shape individuals and enabling them to have a decent life. They implement development programs and community-based initiatives by establishing effective cooperation and partnerships. The association is constantly optimizing investments into upscale its expertise and resources to ensure the command of best practices and standard in their works. President
Dr. Abdulraqeb Abdullah Hussein Obad
He is was born in 1969, in Damar, Yemen. He completed his university education in the area of agricultural sciences. He finished his doctorate in the Method of Islamic law. He worked as vice-rector in Qur’an Kareem and Islamic Sciences University and for a while, he worked as a consultant to Yemen Justice Minister. Being the President of Yemen-Turkey Friendship and Cooperation Association founded in Turkey, Abdurrakib Obad was the previous vice-president of the Sebeket Nema (Yemen Non-Governmental Organizations Development Network) which contains 426 associations and foundations under its umbrella. He currently provides consultation service for it. He also carried out prayer leadership at the Bilal Mosque. During this process, he worked as university teacher and founding member and president in many non-governmental organizations such as Al Umrani Talented People Science Foundation, Yemen Goodness and Chastity Association, El Furkan Qur’an Kareem Foundation. Obad realized many invitation activities, education courses, TV programs. Currently, he settled in Turkey in the wake of internal turmoils in Yemen and opened an education institution for the visiting students. He is a member of the Union of the NGOs of the Islamic World Council. Abdul Raqeeb Abdullah Obad knows Turkish and English in medium level. He is married and has five children.
