July 15, 2017 was rare turning point of this noble nation. It was a dark night to try applying last option of traitorous sneaky plan of forty years.

15th of July, it was a night that leaked all ranks of state, forgot the love of nation and country, tried to capture a nation at any cost with a bloody rise and blood stained structure.

As described in our national poet Mehmet Akif ‘s poem “But I have borders guarded by the mighty chest of a believer. Recognize your innate strength, my friend! And think: how can this fiery faith ever be killed!” millions flooded public squares, crowded into mosques to show their courage. As explained in lines “Render your chest as armor and your body as trench! Stop this disgraceful rush!”, they fought against the terrorists disguised themselves in military uniforms till the morning.

Every time democracy monks talks about freedom, human rights, pluralism and civil administrations in Turkey but that night and after we saw them to play ostrich.

Countries and their local collaborators who say that we are the protector of these values but they gave hesitant and unenterprising statements against 15th July coup attempt.

Those who hide behind these so-called values, gave an example of hypocrisy and received traitors with open arms by forgetting al our friendship, relations and strategic position among us.

It was not needed for so-called develop countries to stand with hero nation without any hesitation which stopped coup?

On the other hand, our brothers in the Islamic world from the Asia-Pacific to the Indo-Pak countries, from the Middle East to Africa came out to streets to support us and prayed tearfully that day.

15th of July is a litmus paper that shows who is friend and who is enemy.

This is a tremendous story of heroism that must not be forgotten and never to be forgotten, to resist those tanks and artillery, with nothing but faith in the heart and flags in the hands of this ignorant nation’s children.

This struggle must be transferred to new generations every time and must be engraved to young minds those are consequence and inheritance of this nation.

It is important for the world to come to terms with the fact that our efforts to bring all the coup plotters, including the senior leaders of FETÖ, to justice are non-negotiable. Those perpetrators should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law while remaining fully committed to the rule of law.
