The Kashmir Centre Delegation Visits UNIW

Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur, Executive Director of The Kashmir Centre, and Zaynab Zahra Najib, Türkiye Director, met with Dr. İbrahim Altan, Deputy Secretary General of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW), and Muhammed Aydın, General Coordinator, during their visit to UNIW.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the humanitarian, political, and social developments taking place in occupied Kashmir and conducted comprehensive assessments of the current situation. The parties emphasized the importance of increasing international awareness regarding the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Kashmiri people.

The meeting also included consultations on possible joint activities, advocacy efforts, and civil society collaborations aimed at informing the international community about the Kashmir issue.

UNIW will continue its efforts to contribute to making the just causes of oppressed peoples heard more strongly on international platforms.
