UNIW 2025 Ramadan Iftar Program
Annual Ramadan Iftar program organized by UNIW for member NGOs and guests.
The UNIW Traditional Iftar Program was held this year under the motto "Strength and Opportunity Arising from Unity" with the participation of TGTV Founding President and 27th Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey İsmail Kahraman, former Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati, as well as numerous presidents and executives of UNIW member NGOs.
Commencing with the recitation of the Holy Quran, the program continued with welcoming addresses. Delivering his welcoming speech, UNIW Secretary General Eyüp Akbal drew attention to global security and humanitarian crises, stating: "This Ramadan, unfortunately, has been one of the most painful and sorrowful Ramadans as our Gazan brothers and sisters under Israeli oppression face relentless bombs and weapons. Today, our greatest prayer is for the immediate end of the massacres inflicted upon Muslims in East Turkestan, Kashmir, Arakan (Rohingya), and many other regions, which deeply wound our hearts and grieve our conscience."
