Consultative Committee
An advisory body guiding the vision of the Union and contributing to institutional growth through wisdom and experience.
The Consultative Committee is formed from among prominent opinion leaders, scholars, and recognized experts of the Islamic world whose knowledge and experience advance the goals and purpose of the Union.
Committee members are invited by the Council upon the nomination of three Council members. The number of committee members is determined by the Council, which strives to convene the committee at least once a year.
The Secretariat provides necessary office and coordination support to the Consultative Committee, handling communication and coordination between committee members and the Union.
Membership
Composed of opinion leaders, scholars, and distinguished experts of the Islamic world.
Invitation Process
Invited by the Council upon nomination by three Council members.
Member Headcount
The size of the committee is determined by decision of the Council.
Meetings
Efforts are made to convene the committee at least once per year.
Secretariat Support
Administrative, office and logistical coordination support is provided by the Secretariat.
Communication & Coordination
Communication between committee members and Union organs is maintained by the Secretariat.
