We hosted The Kashmir Centre delegation at our headquarters.

The Kashmir Centre Executive Director Muzzammil Ayyub Thakur and Turkey Director Zaynab Zahra Najib met with UNIW Deputy Secretary General Dr. İbrahim Altan and General Coordinator Muhammed Aydın during their visit to UNIW.

During the meeting, comprehensive evaluations were made on the current situation by addressing humanitarian, political, and social developments in occupied Kashmir. The parties drew attention to the importance of raising international awareness within the context of the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Kashmiri people.

In addition, mutual consultations were held on joint activities, advocacy efforts, and potential civil society collaborations aimed at informing the international public about the Kashmir issue.

UNIW will continue its efforts to contribute to making the just causes of oppressed peoples heard more strongly on international platforms.
