WEFA Was Awarded Second Prize in the "International Donor" Category at the Red Crescent Awards 2026
UNITB Member WEFA International Humanitarian Aid Organization was awarded the second prize in the "International Donor" category within the scope of the Red Crescent Awards 2026 organized by the Turkish Red Crescent. T.R. At the ceremony held under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the award was presented by President Erdoğan to WEFA Chairman H. Musab Aydın at the Presidential Complex Beştepe Congress and Culture Center.
WEFA's being deemed worthy of this award was evaluated as a reflection of its humanitarian aid activities and works in crisis and disaster areas in Turkey and in different parts of the world. WEFA, which operates especially actively in regions where war, natural disasters and humanitarian crises occur, continues its work in the field of international humanitarian aid with the aid it delivers to those in need.
At the ceremony held at the Presidential Complex, while Turkey's leading aid organizations and civil society representatives came together, WEFA Chairman H. Musab Aydın stated that they received the award on behalf of all volunteers and donors. Within the scope of the cooperation between WEFA and the Turkish Red Crescent, humanitarian aid activities continue both in Turkey and in different geographies.
With this success, WEFA states that it will continue to carry its responsibility in the field of humanitarian aid further and reach those in need in different parts of the world.
