UNIW Delegation Sudan Field Visit Report
Comprehensive field visit report of the UNIW delegation regarding the humanitarian situation in Sudan.
At the "Cooperation and Coordination Meeting on Humanitarian Work in Sudan" organized by the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW) on November 13, 2025, in Istanbul, strengthening coordination in humanitarian aid activities, directing resources toward real field needs, and creating sustainable impact were addressed as core priorities.
In this framework, a field visit to Sudan was conducted between February 4–7, 2026, to evaluate the current situation on-site, directly observe priority humanitarian needs, and consult with local stakeholders. During the visit, difficulties in accessing basic necessities, disruptions in healthcare services, and the condition of populations affected by internal displacement were closely examined.

This Report has been prepared in line with observations obtained during the field visit conducted by the UNIW member delegation, meetings held with the Sudan Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC), interviews conducted, and consultations held with stakeholders. The report reflects UNIW's dignity-based, needs-oriented, and coordination-driven humanitarian approach; aiming to contribute to developing a more effective, complementary, and sustainable cooperation model in the field.
