Gilgit-Baltistan Business Development Delegation Visits UNIW
The Business Development Delegation from Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan province visited UNIW Headquarters to discuss institutional cooperation and joint economic initiatives.
A high-level Business Development Delegation from Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan province visited the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (UNIW) on February 21, 2019. Composed of senior officials from trade, mining, and tourism ministries conducting official meetings in Turkey, the delegation led by Mr. Aasım Tiwana held comprehensive consultations with UNIW executives.
Mr. Aasım Tiwana underscored that the visit was crucial for establishing institutional partnerships between local non-governmental organizations in Gilgit-Baltistan and UNIW. Presenting regional development projects, he noted that establishing sister-city arrangements and joint community initiatives would significantly advance both economic prosperity and cultural brotherhood between Turkey and Pakistan.
