Islamic World Academy Comes to Life!
The UNIW Youth Council (Young UNIW) launched the 'Islamic World Academy', a year-long international academic program across Turkey, Albania, and Malaysia.
Throughout the past two centuries of Islamic civilization, intellectual and political pioneers have continuously confronted the pivotal question: 'Why did the Islamic world fall behind, and how can it reclaim its rightful status?' The insights developed over this history provide today's youth with profound perspectives to understand our contemporary world.
Harnessing this heritage to formulate authentic solutions for the Muslim world's present challenges, the Youth Council of the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World (Young UNIW) proudly presents the year-long international project: The Islamic World Academy.
Program Details: Implemented simultaneously across Turkey, Albania, and Malaysia, the academy begins with foundational reading and analytical modules examining Islamic thought across different eras and geographies. Top-performing participants will join an international summer camp with distinguished scholars. The curriculum culminates in intensive research into contemporary challenges of the Ummah and the International Islamic World Academy Symposium in December, conducted in English.
