International Conference: Muslims and the World - From Crisis to Solution

The international conference titled 'Muslims and the World: From Crisis to Solution' was organized in Amman, Jordan, by the International Forum for Moderation (Al-Muntada Al-Alami lil-Wasatiyya), bringing together over 90 prominent scholars and NGO leaders from 20 countries.

Distinguished participants included former Sudanese Prime Minister Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, Sheikh Abdelfattah Moro of Tunisia, Prof. Dr. Ali Al-Qaradaghi, Iraqi Sunni Diwan President Sheikh Abdul Latif Al-Humaim, UNIW Secretary General Atty. Ali Kurt, and Prof. Dr. Ekrem Keleş.

Delivering a speech on 'Civil Society Organizations in Establishing Social Unity in the Islamic World', UNIW Secretary General Ali Kurt emphasized: 'Our geography is in dire need of mutual understanding, sustainable joint projects, and taking ownership of its own destiny against imperialist designs seeking to draw new Sykes-Picot borders.'
