The 'Moderation and the Middle Path' conference, organized by the Muslim World League (Rabita) in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, concluded with the participation of 1,200 delegates representing 139 countries. The final declaration emphasized peaceful coexistence, combating Islamophobia, and respecting the sovereignty of nations without internal interference.
The declaration noted that cultural and religious diversity constitutes an enriching strength for societies, while warning that anti-Islamic rhetoric and Islamophobia jeopardize mutual understanding and sow seeds of division.
The conference affirmed that Islamic teachings fundamentally embody moderation and balance, urging communities to address global challenges through impartial dialogue, mutual respect, and rejection of baseless accusations.
Following the endorsement of the final communiqué by Islamic scholars and dignitaries, the conference concluded with an official group photograph of all participants.
