The Voice of Civil Society Cannot Be Silenced
UNIW press statement condemning the Israeli terror state's bombing of Yardımeli Humanitarian Aid Association building in Gaza.
We strongly condemn the terror state of Israel's bombing of the Gaza building of our member organization Yardımeli, which conducts humanitarian relief operations for the people of Gaza.
Protected by hypocritical Western democracies that never hesitate to ignite discord when it comes to Muslim nations and offer all support to anti-Muslim factions—even bombing media buildings and pouring death upon civilians with weapons gifted by the West—the terror state of Israel has added a new atrocity by targeting civil society organizations conducting humanitarian relief for the people of Gaza.
Israel and its Western supporters must know that Palestine is not abandoned. We will continue to struggle against this state terror in every legitimate sphere, defending our rights and freedoms, and protecting our lands, especially Holy Jerusalem.
On this occasion, we extend our sympathies to the Yardımeli family. Such heinous attacks will not intimidate our civil society organizations; as expressed by the poet "O my enemy, you are my expression and my pace / Day needs night, and I need you", all civil society operations—from humanitarian aid to education, law to economic activities—will continue to expand.
