Declaration About Palestinian Captives on the Occasion the Week of Captives

Statements of the Secretary-General of UNIW Atty. Ali Kurt, on remembering our Palestinian captivated brothers and their captivated life and deprived lives are as follows:

On the basis of the week of captives declared in the “meeting of international solidarity with Palestinian captives” held in Lebanon, a press conference was organized and it was declared publicly that we support our Palestinian brothers in Zionist Israeli prisons. At the press conference declare to all people of turkey on behalf of UNIW that our captivated brothers more than 7000 were left to the merciless hands of the regime and they need our efforts at that point .ı restate that Palestinian captives, who is deprived of freedom by Israel under unjust and difficult conditions, are not given enough attention and sensitiveness by international community. We must keep that issue on the agenda continuously and thus force Israel for solution. In that meaning, ı underline again that we, as UNIW, we support this campaign in every aspect. Any Palestinian do not deserve an imprisonment that is away from suitable conditions for life and limits their fundamental needs of health as well as their deprivation of freedom.

At that point, we appreciate the honorable stance of our Palestinian brothers and sisters and a serious contribution to that effort for their rescue must be provided. I present the seriousness and urgency of that matter to the public attention.
