We Call All Muslims to Unity Against Zionist Regime Lawlessness

The Zionist regime continues its unlawful and reckless attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque and all holy sites in Jerusalem. In the face of this, international decision-making bodies as well as Muslim states detached from Ummah policy prefer to remain silent.

As the Islamic world delays the unity it desperately needs, the severity of oppression and pressure will increase and deepen daily. Regrettably, even when Al-Aqsa Mosque—one of our most sacred values—is subjected to continuous attacks, the Islamic world fails to act as one body!

We invite every member of the Islamic Ummah and our Muslim non-governmental organizations to take action with their hearts and deeds in the face of this situation, and we call on Muslim states to remember their responsibilities. The United Nations must finally act in an environment where a religious worshipper burns and destroys the sacred sanctuary of another, putting a stop to Israel, the spoiled child of the West.

Based on the historical reality that external threats spur us to unite, we cannot permit Al-Aqsa Mosque—the light of our eyes—to be trampled under the boots of treacherous Israel.

None of us doubt that Israel desires to sustain these treacherous attacks until it completely demolishes Al-Aqsa Mosque. In this regard, we must pray to Allah to protect His sacred sanctuary against treacherous enemies and resort to all avenues to achieve genuine unity with an action spirit emanating from Quranic principles.

Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque belong to Muslims and shall remain so.

As the Union of NGOs of the Islamic World, encompassing 302 member non-governmental organizations across 61 countries, we invite all civil initiatives across the Islamic world to display a joint stance and action against these treacherous attacks, demonstrating unity worthy of Islam.
